The island of Comino is one of the most visited places in Malta, and the Blue Lagoon, its busiest bay, receives practically all the visitors of the country, for its beauty and for being the arrival point of the ferry from Malta.
On our boat trip to Comino you will swim in the turquoise waters of the Blue Lagoon or you can go ashore for the now famous “piña colada” or swim through the tunnel that crosses the entire island of Cominotto.
You can also visit and swim in Cristal Lagoon, one of our favourite coves, where we are usually the first to arrive and take advantage of the fact that there are no boats or tourists.
If you like snorkelling, we will anchor at a 45 m wreck which can be seen perfectly from the surface with the snorkel and mask, something really interesting as it is difficult to see a wreck from the surface without having to dive.
During the tour you can also enjoy St. Nicolas bay and St. Maria where if you are not too lazy to walk for 8 minutes you can visit St. Maria Cave, a grotto with beautiful backlighting and the scene of a part of the film “The Count of Monte Cristo”.

1 day departures: 9h to 16h / 16.30h
1/2 day departures: 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm
Excursions by seat to seat booking are only available on Wednesdays.

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE TRIP?
Everything not specified in the section “Included”.
Alcoholic drinks but you can bring your own.
An aperitif is included but you can bring food that does not need to be cooked if you wish.
BOOKING
When requesting the booking you have to provide us with the dates and number of people you will be. Within a maximum of 24 hours we will reply with the availability of places.
Reservations will be effective once bank deposit or Paypal for the amount of 30% of the total, the rest (70%) of the amount will be paid on arrival at the boat.
Credit cards are not accepted.
All our “seat by seat” booking excursions and trips need a minimum of 6 people. The boat is shared and the maximum capacity is 10 people.
The “Private boat” booking, where the excursion is not shared with other people, is for a maximum of 10 participants.
In the “Family Cruise” booking, where the boat is shared, the minimum age is 8 years old. If the children are under 8 years old, the booking has to be in “Private boat”.
CANCELLATION
The costs in case of cancellation by the participants are:
0% 15 days before departure.
30% 14 to 7 days before departure.
100% 6 days before departure.
In the case of cancellation by the organisation due to inclement weather, mechanical or technical problems, the refund will be 100% of the reservation.
ROUTE CHANGES
The itineraries will be programmed at the time of booking, but may change from the initial plan in the event of adverse weather conditions.
The skipper will explain the specific itinerary on the day of boarding if the weather is inappropriate.
In the case of modification or partial cancellation of the itinerary due to weather conditions, no refund will be given.
If the trip is cancelled on the same day due to weather or technical reasons, the full amount paid will be refunded or the option will be given to make the trip on another day.
If a participant decides to disembark for any reason before the end of the trip there will be no refund.
All activities carried out from the boat are the responsibility of each participant, Malta Vela only provides transport and advice, and is not responsible for the activities or sports carried out by the client.
